Do you have your CampusCard?

What: The UAB CampusCard is your access into the Campus Recreation Center.

*Who: ALL MEMBERS (faculty, staff, alumni, spouses and dependents) will need a card to access the facility.

When: Cards are made Mon. through Fri. from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Where: The CampusCard office is in the Hill University Center, room 158.

How: All you need is a photo ID. The whole process takes less than five minutes.

Note: The UAB CampusCard is NOT the same as a UAB employee ID card or the ID card issued to students in UAB's professional schools (Medicine, Dentistry, Optometry). These employee IDs will not get you into the Campus Recreation Center.

*Beginning January 1, 2007 the CampusCard office will begin encoding physical security issue employee ID cards for employees who purchase a Campus Recreation Center membership.

For UAB employees who received their ID badge prior to 2005 (no magnetic strip) who purchase a Campus Recreation Center membership, the CampusCard office will issue a new CampusCard for them.

There will be a $3.00 activation charge to issue CampusCards for all non-students. These individuals will pay the $3.00 fee at the Campus Recreation Center and be given an authorization form to give to the CampusCard office. These groups may include:

Faculty/staff
Household members
