To earn points, a team must continuously use the same team name, or declare that the team is competing for a previously entered team but using a different name. Each organization may have as many teams as they choose. Each team will be able to accumulate and earn president's points; however, at the end of the season, only the top 3 teams, from a given organization, will be given president's points. A team may not solicit people/teams to play for their organization. The Office of Campus Recreation will be the sole judge as to solicitation versus recruitment.

If a team/organization is placed on suspension by the University, they will be eliminated from contention for the President's Award until their suspension has expired.

Class A Major Team Sports: Team sports with five or more players on the playing surface, in a league format.

Class B Minor Team Sports: Team sports with three or four players on the playing surface, in a league format.

Class C Major/Minor Team Tournaments/Events: Tournaments/events with three or more players competing as a team in a tournament/event, not in a league format.

Class D Individual/Dual Tournaments/Events/Sports: Tournaments/events/sports with one or two players competing individually or as a doubles team, possibly in a league format.

Co-Rec participation will not count toward a team's point totals.
Teams or individuals receiving a bye in a tournament will receive win points for the bye if they win their next match and half the win points if they lose their next match.
Teams and individuals must declare prior to starting a match that they are representing a particular organization.
