| "The Pit" Festival: ice climbing, WI (MLK, Jr. Holiday) - Jan. 13-16, 2012

We have found a new great location for our ice climbing trip! We will now be climbing in Iowa on ice covered silo's! A great bonus of this new location is that it has a warming house only yards away from the climbing. This is an opportunity for the beginner to experience ice climbing in the top rope environment. Equipment and hotel lodging are included in the cost of trip. We will be hitting the ice on both Saturday and Sunday, giving you lots of practice and experience on different types of ice. |

Come and join us for a great climbing trip designed for climbers of all skill levels. This is an opportunity for the beginner to experience outdoor climbing in the top rope environment and for an experienced climber to climb at one of Alabama's best climbing locations. This sandstone climbing area includes a series of tall boulders strewn along the side of the mountain varying in height from 30 feet to 90 feet. The trip will be run by experienced UAB trip leaders and a certified rock climbing guide. Equipment is included in the cost of the trip. So come and join us on the rocks and have a great experience. |
