UAB outdoor Pursuits seeks to offer training to improve your outdoor experience. The course offerings are designed to educate and  promote safety. Courses are targeted to UAB students, but are open to all community members.

Wilderness Medical Associates will be doing a Wilderness First Responder course in our Rec. Center December 27^th 2008 – Jan 4^th 2009.These dates provide that there may be no need to miss any classes. Deadline for signup and $250 deposit due November 18^th 2008. Come enjoy warm weather in the south.
Course cost includes books, tuition and fees.
Optional “camping in the Rec” for only $40. Camping in the Rec includes: common floor space in a fitness studio, locker room showers, access to refrigerator and microwave.
We will provide Airport pick up / drop off, and one grocery run. Class ends 5 PM on Jan 4^th.
