UAB outdoor Pursuits seeks to offer training to improve your outdoor experience. The course offerings are designed to educate and promote safety. Courses are targeted to UAB students, but are open to all community members.

Wilderness First Responder Course
$470 for the course
$40 for “Camping in the Rec”*(optional)
Anyone under the age of 19 must have parental consent.
Course is full and a waiting list is has been created to open another section. As of November 17, 2009 there were 4 spots required to open a new section. Please call 205.996.4914 for availability.
